"It's a new day."

Well, it's not really much of a blog if I only post once a month. But it's an archive for my biography should my family every want to read one since I quit writing in my paper journals except on vacation and in their "baby books."  I do still have an Appreciation Journal where I write almost nightly, recording at least three things I appreciate during the day, despite the madness.

Much has happened since that last road trip post:
Judd returned from the Appalachian Trail.
I quit working for the VA (Veterans Administration.)--People keeping getting "VA" mixed up with Virginia)
I started a new job at MaineGeneral Medical Center * as Medical Director for Primary Care (supervising the 8 primarycare/pediatric/internal medicine practices and 2 express cares run by the hosptial.)
Malindi and Juno moved to Sugarloaf for the winter.
and all the magic making and parties of the holidays between Thanksgiving and New Years are on-going.

*"It's a new day."  is a logo for the new MaineGeneral Medical Center
Here's a cool time elapse video of the new hospital being built. I saw it back in July when I interviewed and had to wear a hard hat..... It's done now.  I started Nov. 1 and the community moved in to the hospital Nov. 9.

Also, I took a video of the dashboard while leaving my garage one day --the temperature went from 32 degrees in the garage, dropping one degree every second until it bottomed out at 9 degrees on the road to work. But the video is not behaving to upload here and seems rather anti-climatic since the next day the temperature went from 20 degrees in the garage down to NEGATIVE 16 degrees when I had to stop and pump gas .  Brrrrr!
