--meeting interesting Sarah from Putney Winery table who let us taste, at no charge, since we were "just tasting dry wines"--She gave us insider scoop on living in the Upper Valley, i.e. where to buy cheap gas on Tuesdays/ which sushi was good and which was eye-rolling bad. When she knew Becky was from  Brooklyn, she asked about how to get to JFK airport for her Birthright Israel tour, being "the only Jew in Vermont" ( I'd never heard of the tour but Becky had)  www.birthrightisrael.com/
